John C. Moe, Market Managing Director – Northern California
John Moe is the Market Managing Director for the Northern California and Seattle regions, where he oversees 239 office and R&D properties in excess of 20 million square feet and a staff of 230 professionals. He has overall responsibility for investment, development, leasing, property operations, and construction in the regions.
Mr. Moe has 25 years of experience in asset and property management, leasing, investments and construction with some of the nation’s leading commercial development and investment companies, including CarrAmerica, DivcoWest, William Wilson & Associates/Cornerstone Properties, and Maguire Thomas Partners in Northern and Southern California, Phoenix, Denver, Boston and Philadelphia.
Mr. Moe earned his Master of Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate/Urban Land Economics from The Marshall Graduate School of Business at the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of California, Davis. He is certified in commercial investment real estate with the CCIM Institute and in property management with the IREM Institute. John is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the NAIOP Silicon Valley and San Francisco Chapters, and the Los Angeles Commercial Real Estate Association.
Tom E. Donoghue, Senior Vice President - Operations
Tom Donoghue serves as Senior Vice President - Operations for Equity Office in Northern California. He is a seasoned real estate executive who is responsible for all facets of property operations, engineering and construction for 239 office and R&D properties comprising over 20 million square feet in Northern California and Seattle. Mr. Donoghue supervises approximately 200 operation professionals.
He also has a Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from BOMA. Mr. Donoghue holds a bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, and law from California Polytechnic State University.
