Tim Gallen has spent more than forty years building the relationships and expertise needed to establish a nationally-respected reputation as one of the commercial real estate industry's leading market positioning and media strategies architects. He has consulted for virtually every regimen in the real estate development, management and investment industry, including for entrepreneurial, corporate and institutional concerns. He has also designed and implemented both domestic and global strategies for some of the commercial real estate industry's best known real estate developers, investors, service companies, lenders, financiers and advisors. Tim has maintained a 25 year relationship supporting Ernst & Young’s global real estate practice, and works similar long term image positioning and market branding campaigns for equally respected companies like The Swig Company, Camden Property Trust, Chambers Street Properties, DivcoWest, Equity Office, The Shorenstein Companies, Vornado, GLL Properties (Munich, GR), Wareham Development and the Urban Land Institute, to name a few. A graduate of the University of Florida College of Journalism, Tim has also served in many strategic non-business related community efforts. He is a member of Lamda Alpha, the national land economics society, has served in an ongoing advisory capacity for the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and in other advisory capacities for the National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives, the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, the Real Estate Investment Association and the National Association of Real Estate Editors. In addition to co-founding a Boy Scouts Real Estate 100 group, he has served for six consecutive years on the Gala Committee of the Northern California Boy Scouts organization, a group that sends young, inner-city children to discover for the first time the glory of nature and leadership at summer camp. Tim resides with his wife, and Gallen Associates co-founder, Lori, in Danville, CA and Bend, OR.

Andrew Neilly has spent many years counseling national and international clients in the real estate investment sector on media relations strategies. Prior to that, he spent seventeen years covering the commercial real estate market and served the financial sector as a reporter and editor in both North America and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Gallen Associates in 1997, he served as editor of the Crittenden Report on Real Estate Financing, a weekly newsletter covering commercial real development issues and estate financing news and trends. Andrew has written extensively on a wide range of commercial real estate topics, including pension fund investments, REITs and other real estate specific financial sectors. He has delivered presentations to the National Association of Mortgage Brokers and the Urban Land Institute. A native of the United Kingdom, Andrew has an honors degree in American Studies from the University of Kent at Canterbury (UKC), where he majored in American History. He and his wife, Jane Irene Kelly — a freelance writer and editor — live just a short cavalry ride from Gettysburg, PA.

Nancy Amaral has spent the past twelve years supporting Gallen•Neilly's market positioning and media strategy programs and several years in direct support of Gallen.Neilly's key clients. In addition to managing the firm’s Walnut Creek-based operations, Ms. Amaral has supervised the establishment of integrated and ongoing media outreach and marketing programs-- including initiating and institutionalizing an online presence for several of the firm’s clients. A native of Northern California, Nancy has degrees in Liberal Arts and Human Development from California State University, Hayward (now CSU East Bay). She lives in Pittsburg, CA with her husband Paul and daughters, Sydney and Shelby.

Aman Chahal has spent the past four years supporting GallenNeilly's market positioning and media strategy programs.  In addition to providing administrative support to the firm’s Walnut Creek-based operations, Ms. Chahal has overseen media outreach programs and the establishment of an online presence for several of the firm’s clients.  A graduate of San Jose State University, and an active member of the Silicon Valley's Entrepreneurship Society, Aman has dedicated her abilities in directing, teaching and running programs for start-up ventures for youths in the Bay Area.  Aman has her degree in Business Management and is further pursuing her education in Project and Marketing Management at California State University – East Bay's Masters of Business Administration program to further apply her skills with GallenNeilly. Aman resides at the heart of Silicon Valley – San Jose, CA – where she spends most of her time with close friends and family.
